So now you’ve taken the risk, and invested in a mesh body. Congratulations! You are probably thinking: “…Now what?” Well, that handsome new body needs a new wardrobe!
Gamer at Work
No, Second Life is not a game. But yes, I am something of a gamer. In a vast sea of video games, the Elder Scrolls series (Skyrim, ESO et al) fits my gaming style best. And in a vast sea of hoodies for men’s mesh bodies, this one by TonkTastic fits my gaming style too.
Work Shirt
I picked up the new Flannel Plaid Shirt released a few days ago by Hoorenbeek, and I’ve been wearing it constantly ever since. It is so versatile, that for a wide variety of looks, it just works.
The Adventurers
“Wait… I think we should have turned left at that last sim…”
Sweater Weather: Ascend @ The Man Cave
Yes, yes, I know it’s March, and we are supposed to write about Spring. But here at Chez Silverdragon, in RL, it’s 16° F outside on this March morning. So this cozy sweater that Ascend is offering at The Man Cave shopping event this month resonated with me.
Sweater Weather: Gabriel @ Epiphany
I am loving this big fat oversized sweater from Gabriel. With the coordinating muffler, it makes me feel warm and toasty even when I’m out ice skating on snowbound Seeking Wisdom.
Ranch Hand
When I was young, I worked on a ranch. This outfit is still one of my favorites because it is something I would have worn in those days. My senses conjure up memories of sweet hay, softly nickering horses, dusty dry roads and the golden sheen of sun-baked hills.
Sweater Weather
Autumn is my favorite season. It has an air of mystery, and teases us about upcoming holidays. I love the colors and the playfulness. And I get to wear sweaters!
Club Scene: Quietly Stylish
I am often asked, “What should I wear to a club?” Without knowing more about the specific club, I often recommend a racer-style (not biker) black leather jacket. The streamlined, minimalist jacket is upscale without being ostentatious, and exudes masculine attitude while being quietly stylish. You can wear it with a shirt and tie to be dressy but hip, or wear it with a t-shirt for a more relaxed look.
Date Night: The Ballet
For the third post in my “Date Night” series, I suggest you consider taking your love interest to the ballet!
